Featuring four, silicone models cast from 3D-printed moulds, Something to Remember Me By explores the themes of legacy and memory by reimagining some of London's most famous skyscrapers as brightly coloured sex toys. Inspired by the items left behind by ex-partners, the piece embodies the various ways people intentionally and unintentionally maintain their place in our memories and lives.
The phallic edifices and totems that litter our culture and landscapes are often interpreted as declarations of power or conquest. Something to Remember Me By recasts these as more vulnerable expressions of a desperate desire to be remembered.
